Project 06: Midland Day Surgery & Specialist Centre
The Midland Specialist Centre is a three storey commercial building located on the site of the former Midland Railway Sidings. The building responds to the site context and history through its materiality and form; with the material palette consisting of exposed concrete, copper aluminium cladding, brick and glass creating a contemporary interpretation of the industrial nature of the site, and the façade design reflecting the rhythm of the Heritage listed Midland Railway Workshops opposite.
